El Cairo, madre del mundo y superviviente

Un ave conocido como Fénix, de fabuloso plumaje, regresaba a Heliópolis cada 500 años para posarse en el altar en llamas del Templo del Sol y volver a nacer después de sus propias cenizas. Heliópolis es el nombre de la más antigua de las encarnaciones de El Cairo, una ciudad que, como el mito que creó, renace una y otra vez.

Cairo, the surviving Mother of the world
A bird known as Phoenix, with fabulous feathers, returned to Heliopolis every 500 years and land on the burning altar of the Temple of the Sun and then reborn from its ashes. Heliopolis is the name of the oldest of the incarnations of Cairo, a city that, like the myth he created, reborn again and again.
