Mar Muerto, el lugar más bajo del planeta

A 400 metros bajo el nivel del mar se encuentra esta fuente termal a dónde acuden los visitantes a flotar sobre el agua más salada del mundo y a embadurnarse con el barro negro de propiedades terapéuticas que rodea el lago. La sal dibuja en las orillas caprichosas formas tridimensionales que adquieren un color rosáceo a la caída de la tarde. A lo largo de toda la costa del Mar Muerto abundan todo tipo de instalaciones balnearias, desde las más austeras a las más lujosas. Un mar interior, o un lago salado, que se reparte las orillas de dos países, Israel y Jordania. Nos bañamos y flotamos en las dos riberas.

Dead Sea, the lowest natural spa
At 400 meters below sea level is this hot spring where visitors come to float on the world's saltiest water and to daub with black mud with therapeutic properties that surrounding the lake. The salt draws on the banks whimsical three-dimensional shapes that take on a pinkish color to the late afternoon. Throughout the entire Dead Sea coast abound all spa facilities, ranging from the austere to the most luxurious. An inland sea or salt lake split the banks of two countries, Israel and Jordan. We swim and float on either sides.
