Centro de las tres religiones monoteístas del mundo, Jerusalén fue construida por el rey David y aquí edificó su hijo Salomón su primer templo. Los cruzados la erigieron su capital en la Edad Media antes de que Saladino la conquistara. Pasear por la ciudad es como entrar en un túnel del tiempo en el que la ciudad sigue recibiendo peregrinos cristianos, musulmanes y judíos que reverencian los respectivos lugares santos.

Center of the three monotheistic religions of the world, Jerusalem was built by King David and here was where his son Solomon built the first temple. The Crusaders built their capital in the Middle Ages before Saladin conquered. Walking around the city is like entering a time warp in which the city continues to receive pilgrims, Christians, Muslims and Jews, who revere their respective holy places.
